In December 2020, Autodesk announced that it would be ending the availability of boxed software (CDs, DVDs and USBs) on July 7, 2021. After this date, all customers will need to download their software by connecting to the Internet.

As part of its shift to fully electronic delivery, the latest release of all 2022 and future product versions will only be available as electronic downloads. Version 2021 was the last release of boxed software versions.

If you rely on boxed software, make sure you have a plan in place to download your software through the internet by July 2021.
