The first task after setting up your BIM 360 Team hub is to setup an existing project for collaboration. Rather than create a new project directly in the cloud, the workflow is designed to take an existing project and upload it to the cloud. To move a project to the cloud, you will start by creating a new project online.
Creating BIM 360 Team Project
Go to your hub in your web browser, and log in. Once there, click the Create Project button.

In the Create your own project window, enter your project name, pick your icon, and click Create Project

Moving Plant 3d Project to the Cloud
Once the online project is created, you need to upload the local Plant 3d project.
Make sure you are signed into the same Autodesk ID that you used in the BIM 360 Team hub.

With the project open, and all drawing files closed, navigate to the Collaborate tab and click Share Project.

The first window describes the process started above.

The next window will allow you to select from your list of hubs, and display the projects in it. Select your project and click Upload Project.

A handy project progress window will show you what’s happening behind the scenes.

In the project manager, you will be able to check out drawings and perform other operations.

The next article will look at changes when using collaboration.
