Bluebeam has announced a major milestone in releasing Bluebeam Cloud, a new suite of cloud-based solutions that seamlessly connects with your documents and tool sets in Revu. They also announced their move from perpetual licensing to a subscription pricing model, also known as Software-as-a-Service (Saas) model. The new subscription plans that include Bluebeam Cloud and Revu under one bundle are focused on three goals:

  • Access anywhere
  • Enhanced security
  • Improved communication and collaboration

Bluebeam Cloud

The new Bluebeam Cloud offers a series of solutions that allow you to access, markup and complete entire workflows on the go. With Bluebeam Cloud, you can work from anywhere via web or iOS device — no setup or installation required. The Markup Editor enables users to easily comment and collaborate on their project documents. And Field Tools allows users to effectively manage and track punch, RFI and submittal workflows on the go.

Bluebeam Chief Executive Officer Jon Elliot stated, “Bluebeam Cloud delivers on our customer promise to unlock the power of Bluebeam Revu so teams in the field can access critical data and work from anywhere, including their mobile devices.”

Revu + Bluebeam Cloud = One Software Solution

Designed specifically to address the evolving needs of modern hybrid-workplaces, Bluebeam Cloud and Bluebeam Desktop Revu are being bundled and offered together as subscription plans for the first time. Bluebeam’s new plans empower teams to get even more out of the markup and workflow automation tools in Bluebeam Revu, while completing entire workflows on the go with new Bluebeam Cloud solutions. This enables AEC firms to better build, manage, administer, and deliver projects on time with enhanced productivity and a single system of record.
