September 20, 2023 – Atlanta, Georgia: Applied Software, Graitec Group has announced it was recently awarded the Autodesk Cloud Specializations for PLM (product lifecycle management) and Design & Manufacturing.

As design, engineering and production processes and technologies mature, the demand to manage all data throughout the product lifecycle has increased. Disparate computer-aided design (CAD), finite element analysis (FEA), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and printed circuit board (PCB) tools challenge a manufacturer’s ability to connect data throughout the product development process. So, it is increasingly important for the correct data to be accessible by the right people at the right time. This ensures increased collaboration to reduce waste, improve efficiency, decrease costs, and maintain a competitive advantage.

Scott McMaster, Graitec USA Executive Vice-President, said, “Applied Software, Graitec Group has demonstrated long-standing success and dedication to partnering with manufacturers to drive innovation and process improvement through implementing Autodesk technologies.” Those technologies that Applied Software specializes in include Autodesk Fusion, Autodesk Upchain, ProdSmart, Autodesk Fusion and its extensions: Simulation, Generative Design, and Nesting & Fabrication.

Kevin Howk, Applied Software, Graitec Group Senior Vice-President of Services, added, “In addition to our industry experience and successful tenure and track record, we received these Specializations because of our continued investment in people, education and technology focused around manufacturing process improvement. These Specializations will allow us to further help manufacturers achieve their process/capability maturity and digital transformation goals.”
