PRESS RELEASE: Applied Software Sustainability Scholarship Inspires Young Innovators

October 17, 2023 – Atlanta, Georgia:  Applied Software, Graitec Group, a leading systems integrator in the AEC, construction and manufacturing industries, is pleased to announce the remarkable impact of its Sustainability Scholarship Program. This initiative has ignited a passion for sustainability and construction careers among high school students across the United States.

With the submission deadline set for November 3, 2023, the Sustainability Scholarship Program has entered a pivotal phase. A distinguished panel of judges, including Anthony Zuefeldt, Carol Dunn and Thomas Brye, will soon begin the task of evaluating the submissions, seeking fresh perspectives on sustainability in construction.

The construction industry needs innovative minds, and Applied Software, Graitec Group remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing the builders and problem solvers of tomorrow. The Sustainability Scholarship Program, open to high school students nationwide, encourages participants to explore challenges, craft inventive solutions and envision the implementation of sustainable practices within the construction sector. The program’s goal is to inspire the next generation to make a meaningful impact on their communities and the built environment.

Multiple awards await the scholarship recipients, with the first-place winner receiving $1,000, along with a $500 donation to their high school’s technology innovation program. The second-place winner will be awarded $300, and the third-place winner will receive $250. The results of the Sustainability Scholarship Program will be officially announced in December 2023, allowing us to celebrate the achievements of the scholarship winners and their contributions to sustainability in the construction industry.
