Revit Parameters 2.0 – Reporting and Global Parameters

In 2016 Autodesk released updates to Parameters in Revit. I created this video with basic examples of how you can use these types of parameters to your advantage. Use these basic examples and discuss and plan other usages to compliment your current in-house workflows. Keep in mind that over constraining a model can be detrimental or have a negative effect on your projects. Coordinate with everyone on the team or on the project how these work and when you should apply them to your projects.

(Part 2 coming soon):

Global parameters are specific to a single project file but are not assigned to categories like a project parameter.
