Recently we heard Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost discuss automation in the workplace and the effects it will have on our workforce during his keynote presentation at Autodesk University this year. I share his optimistic view and I think the below video summarizes Andrew’s thoughts of a better economy with more possibilities. It also reminds us of times past where similar fears of robots taking over the workplace existed.
Automation in the workforce is not a new phenomena but is becoming increasingly more common and the activities that can be automated are increasingly more complex. As the video demonstrates. Some jobs have been lost in the past to automation but likewise others have been created.
