Revit MEP Advanced
The REVIT MEP course is intended for any user who is versed in the software or needs a refresh.
Geared specifically for the MEP disciplines, this class will advance the user’s abilities in Revit far beyond what is covered in an initial Revit Mechanical, Plumbing or Electrical Fundamentals class to provide extensive instruction in the creation of custom 3D families to allow for the development of custom content following industry best practices.

Revit MEP Advanced
Duration: 5 days (or 10 half-days in videoconferencing)
Public concerned: Architects, technologists, engineers, builder.
Prerequisites: Working knowledge of Revit MEP
Objectives: Understand the Family Creation Process, Use Reference Planes and Work Planes for 3D, Modeling using 3D solids and voids, use dimension parameters to control geometry, use non-dimensional parameters for BIM data, work with connectors to give intelligence to the family, create family types.
After this training, participants will be able to:
Understand the interface and working methodologies
Know basic modeling and modification tools
Master view management and graphic management
Incorporate 2d drawing
Print, export views and information.
